This breakthrough solution offers unmatched efficiency and scalability, operating entirely on renewable energy and consuming 70% less energy than conventional methods, making it both environmentally sustainable and economically viable at scale.As the System Development Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the advancement of our cutting-edge electrochemical systems and shaping the future of carbon removal technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize electrochemical-based systems, including the integration of electrochemical stacks, airflow components, electrical systems, process controls, and safety protocols such as HAZOP.
  • Lead the transition from demonstration projects through pilot testing to large-scale production, ensuring robust and efficient system designs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D and scale-up specialists, to achieve technological and operational excellence.
  • Design and implement control systems to enhance process stability and reliability.
  • Apply your expertise in process engineering to identify and leverage system efficiencies, driving innovation and operational improvements.
  • Report directly to the Head of Engineering, contributing to strategic planning and technical leadership.


Requirements:

  • B.sc in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field- (M.sc - an advantage).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the process, chemical, energy industries.
  • A solid understanding of working with gases, electrochemical systems, or related technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Background in process optimization, control systems, and safety frameworks is an advantage.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
